St. Timothy Catholic School – Living, Learning and Serving in the Light of Christ
Our light has been shining bright:
- Summer 2017, an AMAZING Staff was hired to teach our students and to share the light of Christ.
- August 16th: The Grand Opening of St. Timothy Catholic School
- A curriculum began to be implemented and growth and development academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually began its journey.
- September 2017, our five eighth grade students, “The Founding Five” received their eighth grade sweatshirts and were given the challenge to guide and mentor all of our younger classes
- First Friday: Every students spends thirty minutes in Adoration
- Each Month: Every student participates in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Kindergarten and First grade participate in classroom visits from Fr. Rick and Fr. Ross
- Father Files: Journaling between our 5th-8th grade students with Fr. Rick and Fr. Ross (bi-weekly basis)
- Students’ Speak: Every Friday, Fr. Rick and Ms. Thomas meet with 5-8 students to talk about where they have been in their past, what is going on in school now and what they would like to see in the future.
- Camp Joy: Our seventh and eighth grade students went on the first ever Camp Joy Adventure where they completed team building activities, experienced the Underground Railroad simulation and talked around a campfire for three days and two nights. A wonderful learning experience.
- Middle School Dances: Three a year
- Walk-a-thon: A profit of over $15,000 was raised for the school and the preschool. This money helped to fund our athletic programs
- Fall Fling: Over 200 attendees visited St. Timothy Catholic School for an Italian dinner, silent auction, live auction and much more. Approximately $35,000 was raised for our future playground. Many parishioners supported this fundraiser and other donations were given: $5,000.00 tuition assistance donation, $5000.00 reading program donation and a longevity scholarship donation
- Last year Boosters began and as a result, this year we had teams in volleyball, soccer, basketball, archery and running club.
- Last year our Family Ministry was created. This ministry provides support to the school, classrooms and teachers as well as providing fun opportunities such as: Thunder Fair, Santa’s Workshop, Teacher Welcome Baskets, Staff Lunches and much, much more.

- STEM Experiment Buddies: 5th and 6th grade students with first grade students
- Monthly “Faith Friends” (Olympic Teams) meeting to foster school-wide care for one another
- Parent Education Opportunities: 1st semester: Teen Suicide Prevention/ 2nd Semester: Internet Safety for our children
- Service Learning Projects which include agency visits for grades K-8th
- Service Learning Family Opportunities

- Quarterly Professional Development Training for teachers and opportunities for individual professional development
- Monthly “team” reviews of Professional Growth and Development Plans amongst teachers
