STREAM Technology

Register for Admission Today!

The purpose of the STREAM program at St. Timothy Catholic School is to enhance educational opportunities appropriate to 21st century learners.

STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math. This class is held in our state-of-the-art Maker Space. During STREAM class, the students may work in groups to creatively investigate and create projects with limited materials.  This concept enhances group work and cooperatively working together.  Students plan projects, create them and then reflect on the outcome and propose ways that the project could be done differently.  Each student in our school has a Chromebook (1:1) and during STREAM class they learn how to effectively use the Chromebooks as well as how to utilize various programs (Google Suite available on school-issued chromebooks and Microsoft Platforms available on desktops in STREAM lab). Our Maker Space provides endless opportunities for teaching and learning across the curriculum. It is exciting to see students learning concepts on multiple levels of learning that will aid them in their future roles in life.
