Use this form to sign your child up for cross country for the 2026 fall season. Cross Country is open to all grades. One registration form per student. Some important notes to consider:
Regular Season
Regular Season will begin mid July with meets starting in mid August. There will be a summer workout schedule emailed in early June to be completed at home. Live optional runs may be available.
Practice Schedule
Regular season practice schedule will be Tuesday directly after school and Monday and Thursday evenings at 6. During pre-season there will be a 4th practice on Saturday mornings.
Attendance
Runners are required to attend 2-3 practices a week during the regular season to be eligible to race in the meet that weekend. Exceptions may be granted for family emergencies or illness.
Meets
Meets will mostly fall on Saturday mornings and runners are expected to make most of the meets. The kids will run against age appropriate in groups (ex K-1, 2-4, and 5-8). We expect to run 6-8 regular season meets with regionals and states if qualified.
While I aim for flexibility to allow our students to participate in multiple sports, attendance should be treated as any other sport – not optional. XC is a team sport and runners are expected to show up for each other.
